We've helped raise over £4,200

Our team are very passionate when it comes to supporting great causes and charities. This month our wonderful Megan Dixon, Associate Director (Customer & Place Strategy) has volunteered with akt, at the UK Finance Mortgage Lunch, helping to raise over £4,200 for the charity.

Akt Savills’ UK LGBTQI charity partner and supported by a number of our destinations; their services spread across the UK, and have offices in London, Manchester, Bristol and Newcastle. They also have a very strong bond with Land Aid which is supported by Savills every year.

Akt is such an important charity - helping to support young LGBTQ+ people experiencing homelessness - and they rely on fundraising from events like this. A whopping 1 in 4 16-25 year olds experiencing homelessness identify as LGBTQ+ and 77% believe they are homeless because they were asked to leave home due to their identity.
