Fiona is the Director of Savills Place and oversees a team of 30 delivering place making and marketing services to Savills clients. Fiona has a wealth of place marketing experience. Previously working for the UK’s largest property marketing agency, Fiona has a detailed knowledge of large-scale development projects, as well as retail and leisure combining an understanding of place, brand and customer trends.

Adam is a director of customer & Place Strategy within the Business Space Property Management division of Savills. He leads on overseeing customer experience and place-shaping strategies across prime commercial and mixed-use assets. Adam and his team drive innovation in customer engagement, be they occupiers, visitors, or members of the public.

Nic Durston
Nic has over 30+ years’ experience working for South Bank BID, the National Trust, Heritage lottery Fund and English Heritage, the Woodland Trust, Groundwork, and the Westway Trust. Nic took up the role of Chair of British BIDs in 2023 in addition to his role as chair of the Advisory Board. His skillset complements the existing team and enables British BID’s to be the industry leader for BIDS in the UK.

Economist and Information scientist, Chris worked initially at the British Institute of Management before moving into academic research and teaching and then becoming Chief Executive of British BIDs. Chris now focusses on place management, BID research, business intelligence and local and central government relationships.

Emily's background ranges across place marketing, place shaping, project management, digital communications and marketing strategies. Her specialism includes working with Shopping Centres, Leisure Centres, Property Owners, Business Improvement Districts, and Local Authorities. She holds an IDM diploma in digital marketing and a Mini MBA marketing qualification.

Ben provides management support to BIDs and is responsible for business development within British BIDs, the longest established membership organisation for BIDs. Ben has worked in place management since 2002 and has experience in brand management, stakeholder communications and event management.

Maria began working with BIDs in 2004 and has worked with and led BIDs through their first ballot and through renewal. Before entering the BID world, Maria worked within the retail sector for 25 years, including having her own retail business for 12 of those years.
