Savills Place-Shaping & Marketing has supported Try Twickenham BID through its recent BID ballot, unlocking £1.2million over the next five years.

The engagement process to ballot uncovered key areas of focus for businesses. 85% of businesses consulted said increased monitoring of crime in the town centre is important to them. Research also found 87% to value local marketing, promotions and seasonal events, backing the BID to deliver these initiatives for the town centre in the new BID term.Commenting on the result, Paul Clement, director, head of place-shaping & marketing said "Twickenham is a very special town centre and I am pleased that businesses can now work together as a BID for the next five years.

We have worked with the team for the last two years in order that their prospects for the next term could be improved. I am pleased that this result delivers them the certainty that they have sought."
