Last week, Savills Place brought together some of the industries BID Chairs in London for a morning of thought leadership, knowledge sharing and networking.

Nick Herward, Director at Savills, introduced the session, emphasising the local presence Savills has in all of the BID areas it works in and the opportunities this brings for increased engagement with BIDs across the UK.

The day also included discussions from Paul Clement, head of place-shaping, on how Savills Place and British BIDs work closely as a team to collaborate and develop places that people want to visit. A key reflection focused on defining the target audiences which places are beginning to see, and how this has changed dramatically over the years.

The session concluded with how BIDs can focus on best practice for their towns and cities.

Savills Place holds a strong management portfolio made up of 18 BIDs throughout the UK.
